My Client…
Is seeking a dynamic, strategic Hotel Manager to lead operations at our flagship 300-bedroom corporate property in Birmingham. As General Manager, you will manage high-volume daily operations across extensive food, beverage, leisure, and meeting facilities. You will direct a large management tier to maximize profitability, secure corporate contracts, and deliver premium brand experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Operations: Lead a 300-room Birmingham asset featuring 2 distinct restaurants, 2 high-volume bars, and a premium luxury spa.
- Events & MICE Planning: Maximize revenue across 7 flexible function rooms catering to corporate conferences and large banquets.
- Financial Accountability: Drive full property P&L performance, implementing strict cost controls and strategic revenue management.
- Asset Optimization: Oversee diverse revenue centers to cross-promote spa memberships, dining packages, and corporate day-delegate rates.
- Brand Compliance: Guarantee strict adherence to corporate service matrixes, health and safety laws, and licensing protocols.
Candidate Requirements
- Scale Experience: Minimum 5 years as General Manager in a 250+ key hotel with complex multi-outlet infrastructure.
- F&B/Events Expertise: Proven history managing high-volume, multi-outlet food and beverage operations and large conference spaces.
- Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with Opera PMS alongside modern corporate finance operating systems.
- Right to Work: Must have existing, unrestricted right to work in the UK. (Sponsorship is not available).
- Commute/Location: Local to or able to commute to Birmingham. (Relocation assistance is not provided).
