Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for quality and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft delicious pizzas in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional meal preparation and food safety standards. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with serving are advantageous, but a genuine enthusiasm for culinary arts is essential.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough making, topping assembly, and sauce preparation
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of meal preparation
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, well-maintained, and used appropriately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to create a safe working environment
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required, including cleaning and organisation of work areas
Skills
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a dynamic kitchen environment
- Previous experience in serving or front-of-house roles is beneficial but not essential
