James Frew Ltd is now one of the largest privately owned building services companies in Scotland, providing property solutions, including plumbing, heating, mechanical services, gas maintenance, and building upgrades for the public and private sectors. Based in Stevenston Ayrshire, Glasgow and Greenock, we directly employ over 400 people including 30 apprentices.
We are currently seeking to recruit full-time Approved Electricians and Electricians to join our installation teams. As an Approved Electrician or Electrician, you will mainly carry out inspection, testing and verification of electrical installations, domestic and commercial electrical installations.
This is an excellent opportunity to progress within an award-winning integrated property solutions company dedicated to operational excellence. In particular, we are keen to hear from Approved Electricians and Electricians who are interested in working on solar PV and battery storage projects.
The successful candidate will:
· Be a fully-qualified electrician to SVQ level 3 and 18th Edition (BS7671:2018)
· Have 2391-52 Inspection and Testing or equivalent
· Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Have a clean UK Driving Licence
· Be determined to succeed with a positive “Can-Do” attitude.
· Have good hand skills and an understanding of health and safety, although full training will be provided.
· Be willing to work across Scotland.
A knowledge of solar PV and battery storage, central heating wiring systems, and LD2 alarms systems is desirable, although full training will be provided.
