You will join our well-respected Commercial Finance team, gaining full exposure to Management Accounting while partnering directly with Business Managers in our Property Investment area to support our modern living housing targets.
Key responsibilities include:
Handling core accounting tasks, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
Driving budget setting and forecasting.
Holding monthly budget monitoring meetings with key business managers.

Our ideal candidate? The role would suit a Graduate seeking to continue on their path to achieving a professional accounting qualification, or equally candidates who want to grow and diversify their professional experience within a sector leading organisation. Your application should highlight:
Qualified or part-qualified in a professional accounting qualification (ACMA / ACCA / ACA).
You've experience of accounting in a large/complex organisation, including the preparation of journals, budgets and forecasts.
You're able to demonstrate practical application of Excel skills in an accounting/finance setting (VLOOKUPs, Sumif, Pivot Tables etc.)
You've the ability to analyse financial information and work with stakeholders to ensure effective budget management – experience of meeting with budget holders would pique our interest, but we can support you develop your experience in this area!
In this role, you can expect to work from the office a minimum of 3 days per week. Based on business needs, particularly around month-end, time spent working from the office may increase.
