Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Multi-Skilled Warehouse Operative & Driver to join our energetic team. Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and organize stock within the warehouse, including heavy lifting tasks to manage inventory effectively
- Operate commercial vehicles confidently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during delivery routes
- Assist with inventory management, including stock checks, labeling, and maintaining accurate records of goods received and dispatched
- Deliver products promptly to designated locations, ensuring items are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues efficiently
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met
- Support warehouse operations by preparing orders, packing items, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
Skills
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of safe driving practices
- Valid driver license or equivalent commercial driving license (CDL)
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in stock handling and heavy lifting
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to driving and warehouse operations
- Reliable, punctual, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork
