We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Fencing Labourer to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with the installation and repair of fencing structures across various sites. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in fencing while contributing to a variety of fencing projects that enhance safety, privacy, and aesthetics for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the the dismantling of old fencing and sorting waste
- Support in digging post holes, setting posts, and securing panels or wire mesh
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of fencing installation and repair
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Qualifications
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including digging, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in all weather
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety guidelines
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Punctual, reliable, and physically able to carry this hands-on role
