Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Court Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of the Court, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. This pivotal role involves overseeing administrative functions, coordinating with staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service for all Court users. Your leadership will help uphold the integrity and professionalism of the Court while fostering a positive environment for staff and Owners alike.
Responsibilities
- The day to day running of the Court, in particular supervision of the team of Duty Managers, Housekeeping assistants who provide both domestic help and support with care, also Cooks and a Maintenance person.
- Advertising for and recruiting staff, dealing with all personnel issues arising from the management of the team of staff.
- Ensuring that the buildings and services are maintained in good order and that the statutory health and safety testing is carried out cyclically.
- Oversee the delivery of compassionate, person-centred care that promotes individuals' dignity, independence and choices.
- Facilitating the resale of vacant properties, completion of required forms, dealing with Solicitors, Estate Agents and Owners' families to ensure a smooth transcation.
- Work to a set budget, keeping accounts of payments received and expenditure incurred (ensuring that all money payable for services provided is received and properly accounted for).
- Promoting the Court's catering facilities, ensuring high standards of service.
- Facilitating social events and activities that the Owners wish to organise (using imagination and initiative).
- Provide excellent customer service to all Owners in line with company standards and provide a positive 'can do' attitude at all times.
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent leadership qualification) or working towards it.
- To become registered with CQC to comply with legislation.
- Proven managerial and adult social care experience, to meet the essential standards of quality and safety.
- Strong, practical understanding of Health and Safety legislation
- A clear enhanced DBS check.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences
- Excellent organisational skills to manage the multiple facets of the position.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating leadership qualities
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address operational challenges proactively
Pay: £38,547.00-£38,548.00 per year
