We are expanding our adult services and are looking for an experienced Lead PBS Support Worker to join our growing team.
About the Role
This is not a traditional support worker role. We are looking for someone who has experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans and who is passionate about improving quality of life through proactive, person-centred support.
You will work primarily with adults in the community, supporting them to develop independence, access meaningful activities and achieve their personal goals while implementing evidence-based behavioural strategies.
You will work closely with our Behaviour Analysts, contribute to ongoing assessment and data collection, and help ensure programmes are implemented consistently and ethically.

- Implement Behaviour Support Plans developed by Behaviour Analysts.
- Support adults within their homes and local communities.
- Promote independence, communication and meaningful participation.

- Support skill development across daily living, community access and social participation.
- Respond calmly and professionally during periods of distress using proactive and least restrictive approaches.
- Maintain accurate records and session notes.
- Work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
- Act as a lead support worker, modelling good practice and supporting newer team members where appropriate.
- Attend supervision, training and team meetings.
Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting autistic adults and/or adults with learning disabilities.
- Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) programmes.
- Understanding of person-centred and least restrictive practice.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

- Willingness to travel across North London.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
- PBS qualifications or formal PBS training.
- Experience working alongside Behaviour Analysts.
- Experience supporting individuals who display behaviours of concern.
- Experience delivering community-based support programmes.
What We Offer
- Ongoing clinical supervision from experienced Behaviour Analysts.
- Regular PBS and behaviour analysis training.
- Opportunities for career progression within a growing specialist organisation.
- Support towards further professional development.
- Paid induction and ongoing training.
- A collaborative and supportive team environment.
