Procurement Analyst
Salary: From £40,000
Location status: Hybrid Working - 2 days in the office a week

Role Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

As a Procurement Analyst, you'll play an important role in helping us understand and manage supplier risk. You'll support the processes that help ensure our suppliers meet regulatory requirements, follow our standards and continue to deliver the services we depend on.
Working as part of our Procurement team, you'll collaborate with colleagues across the business to maintain robust supplier oversight, improve assurance processes and help protect Bupa from supply chain risks. This is a great opportunity to develop your expertise in supplier assurance, governance and compliance while contributing to a function that has a real impact across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and support supplier segmentation activities, ensuring suppliers are assessed correctly and in line with business and regulatory requirements

Maintain supplier records and supporting evidence to ensure accurate governance and oversight

Support supplier due diligence activities, including issuing questionnaires, monitoring progress and tracking responses

Work with subject matter experts to review and improve due diligence requirements and question sets

Monitor and report on due diligence activity, progress and completion rates

Help manage the supplier assurance programme and annual audit roadmap

Coordinate supplier audits, working with internal stakeholders, Supplier Relationship Managers and external auditors

Track audit findings, monitor remediation actions and maintain accurate reporting

Support the delivery of training and guidance across the Procurement function

Help ensure Bupa remains compliant with regulatory requirements and internal supplier management standards

Contribute to continuous improvement activities that strengthen supplier assurance processes and controls
What We're Looking For

Experience working within supplier assurance, supplier management, procurement, risk, compliance or audit environments

Understanding of supplier assurance frameworks, governance processes or audit activities

Knowledge of supply chain processes and supplier risk management principles

An organised approach with strong attention to detail

Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams

Strong customer service mindset and a collaborative approach

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Interest in continuous improvement and finding more efficient ways of working
