Duties
- Assist in preparing and baking baked goods, following established quality standards.
- Be competent in serving customers and learning our till system.
- Prepare buffets and filled roles for our customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Help with packaging finished products for sale or distribution while ensuring presentation meets company standards
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
- Follow all food safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of baking techniques and familiarity with bakery equipment enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Experience working in a restaurant or food service setting demonstrates your ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Understanding of food safety practices ensures compliance with health regulations and maintains product quality
- Previous kitchen experience provides a strong foundation for learning specific bakery processes and recipes
