The Role
As a Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth client journey from the outset. Your responsibilities will include:
- Onboarding new clients and opening files
- Preparing and processing legal documentation
- Handling client and third-party enquiries promptly and professionally
- Keeping all parties updated throughout the conveyancing process
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the team
About You
We’re looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team on a full time, permanent basis with:
- Some recent experience as a Legal Assistant or Secretary within a solicitor’s office (preferred)
- A solid understanding of legal terminology
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident telephone manner and a client-focused approach
You will need good numeracy and literacy skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience with case management systems would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Please note this is a permanent, full time role, working Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week.
