Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and corridors in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, including floors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Manage waste disposal efficiently and hygienically
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is well-maintained
- Follow strict infection control protocols, as per local guidance
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding confidentiality and resident privacy
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hospital environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and health & safety regulations within healthcare settings
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the healthcare environment
