Duties
- Offer personalized care and companionship tailored to each individual’s needs, promoting emotional well-being and independence.
- Assist with daily routines such as toiletting,dressing, grooming, mobility, and medication reminders in accordance with care plans.
- Support clients with household tasks including light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping errands.
- Provide transportation for appointments or outings using your own vehicle or arranged transport, ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care delivery.
- Observe and report any changes in health or behavior promptly to relevant parties.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe environment for everyone involved.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is highly desirable.
- Valid driving license with reliable access to a low vehicle for client transportation/to hold manual wheelchair (can be folded)
- Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with clients and team members.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and updating care records accurately.
- Compassionate attitude with excellent listening skills and patience.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic setting.

Pay: Up to £14.80 per hour
