J3 Debt Solutions is a growing firm of Insolvency Practitioners with offices in Manchester and Glasgow. Since launching in January 2019, we’ve established ourselves as specialists in personal debt solutions, currently managing over 13,000 live cases and adding 500+ new cases per month.
We’re now looking for an experienced Insolvency Administrator to join our fast-paced Post-Appointment Supervisory Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm in an exciting period of rapid growth and to become a key part of our journey.
The Role
As an Insolvency Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insolvency clients, with a focus on Trust Deeds, IVAs, and Debt Arrangement Schemes — while supporting the team and delivering outstanding client care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of post-appointment personal insolvency cases (Trust Deeds, IVAs, DAS), with a focus on escalated or more complex client matters
- Respond to and resolve challenging client queries, complaints, or escalations in a timely and empathetic manner
- Conduct detailed income and expenditure reviews in line with current legislation and internal policies
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all interactions and case developments
- Provide expert guidance to clients on personal debt solutions and clearly explain their implications
- Support in the development and training of junior team members by sharing best practices and assisting with complex casework
- Collaborate closely with the Team Manager and Insolvency Practitioner to manage risk, ensure compliance, and maintain service standards across escalated cases
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in personal insolvency case administration
- Strong knowledge of both English and Scottish debt solutions preferred
- Experience of handling client communications (calls, reviews, updates)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident using insolvency case management systems
