GowringsVersa Mobility are the UK’s original manufacturer and supplier of wheelchair accessible vehicles based at Thatcham. Due to further sales increases we are seeking another experienced Vehicle Valeter to join our busy workshop.
Job role:- Overview of Responsibilities:
- Clean and Detail vehicles inside and out – new and used stock in preparation for customer delivery.
- Ensure demonstration, used and hire fleet vehicles are clean, inspected and ready for customer collection or delivery.
- Checking basic vehicle operation, fluid levels, tyres, general condition.
- Regular inspection of Hire and Demo vehicles including; Conversion operation and condition – belts, winch and seat belts.
- Vehicle movement – taking vehicles to local contractors when work is required and moving vehicles around on site.
- Observe all relevant Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
- Good Housekeeping of work area.
- Safe use of power tools and equipment.
Person specification: Skills/ Competencies:
- Minimum 2 years Valeting experience.
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently.
- Quality conscious with a high standard to detail.
- Knowledge of relevant HSE and COSHH regulations.

Salary:- £28,000pa £13.46ph (Pay increase review during probation period)
Holidays 25 + bank holidays with an existing agreement to use holiday between Christmas and New year.
Pension 3% company contribution.
