ROLE SUMMARY
The Office Administrator will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of Aqua Construction's head office where you will be working alongside an professional construction team.
This is a varied position requiring someone who is organised, confident communicating with different people and comfortable managing several tasks at the same time. The successful candidate will work closely with construction management team, site teams, accounts, suppliers, subcontractors and clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing incoming telephone calls and general enquires, maintain compliance platforms, accreditations and company app. Coordinating utilities bills, credit cards and invoices with suppliers and the accounts team.
Dealing with company branded workwear and PPE clothing, ordering office and site supplies. Assist with subcontractors and supplier documentation, including insurances, certificates, accreditations.
Assist with customer care and defects information, handover and project completion documentation.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
- Previous experience in an office administration role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good IT skills, including SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience within construction, property or a similar industry would be advantageous but is not essential.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE
This is an office based role at our Quedgeley premises The Office Administrator's overall objective is to provide reliable administrative support to the business and ensure that Aqua Construction's office, project and company records are accurate, organised, up to date and easily accessible.
The role should help reduce the administrative burden on the Managing Director and construction management team, allowing them to concentrate on the delivery and management of the company's projects.
As a growing and evolving business, the responsibilities of the position may develop over time, and the successful candidate will be expected to take a flexible and proactive approach to the role.
