*Job Overview*
We are seeking a self employed Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in enhancing the beauty of our customers gardens and outdoor spaces. This will be a commercial and domestic setting. We require an organised individual who is willing to take the lead for their team, reporting weekly to the directors on jobs. Ensuring that the timescales are met and the customers are satisfied with a great level of service we aim to provide.
*Duties*
- commercial & Domestic grounds Maintenance would be the main roll but we also have another team that do the following and you could sometimes be asked to cover shifts there also. landscape tasks such as patio laying, fencing, retaining walls, planting, Artificial and non artificial grass laying plus any other aspects of landscaping.
We also cover window cleaning and communal cleaning so you could from time to time be asked to cover these areas.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for garden upkeep
- Conduct groundskeeping duties to ensure the overall cleanliness and tidiness of outdoor areas
- Running and co-ordinating a team of 2 to 3 people ensuring deadlines are hit, skips, machines and materials are kept on top of reporting any staff issues to the directors to manage.
- Ensuring site is secure and tools or machinery is prepared for the job ahead.
*Skills*
- Proficiency in landscape techniques
- Ability to work with hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Knowledge of runnng jobs to a deadline.
- Experience and tickets in Micro digger operation.
- Experience of towing such as a trailer with plant machinery on.
Must have a full UK driving licence must be 25+ years of age due to insurance purposes.
This is for a Self Employed position
