Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Swanpool Pharmacy in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, accuracy checking, ensuring accurate medication administration and excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC. Proof of your completion of the Accuracy Checking Course (ACT Qualification) and registration with the GPhC is essential.
Responsibilities:
Your duties will encompass, but not be confined to:
- Receiving and processing prescriptions
- Performing accuracy checks
- Labeling and dispensing prescriptions, using the dispensary computer system and adhering to standard operating procedures to guarantee safe patient provision efficiently and accurately.
- Cultivating relationships with patients, GP surgeries, suppliers, and other healthcare professionals
- Upholding cleanliness and high standards within the dispensary
- Dispensing MDS prescritptions
- Organising workload and optimizing dispensary layout for maximum efficiency
- Providing support in completing and organizing pharmacy paperwork.
- Demonstrating keen attention to detail and maintaining high levels of concentration
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an ACT in the UK.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and checking
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities

Pay: £29,250.00-£30,225.00 per year
