What’s on the menu?
- Running the daily kitchen show (yes, you’ll be Head Honcho of pots, pans, and portion sizes).
- Cooking up tasty, nutritious meals that keep our residents saying “yum” instead of “meh.”
- Leading and inspiring your team—think of yourself as a culinary captain steering the good ship Kitchen.
- Menu planning that balances tradition with a twist (pie & mash today, chef’s surprise tomorrow!).
- Keeping the kitchen sparkling clean and compliant—Mary Berry would approve.
- Collaborating with our care team so mealtimes feel more like events than routines.
You’ll need to bring:
- Proven chef-ing skills (if you can spell béchamel, you’re already halfway there).
- Experience leading a team without throwing the soup ladle.
- Knowledge of food safety regs (because no one wants a surprise ingredient called “Oops”).
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks (literally optional, but we’d be impressed).
- Most importantly: a genuine passion for cooking that warms stomachs and hearts.
