Overview
We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead our busy and vibrant restaurant. If you're passionate about hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy supporting and developing a great team, we'd love to hear from you.
Working closely with the General Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth operations, and high standards across both front and back of house.
Duties
- Support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operation of a busy restaurant.
- Ensure business profitability.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Help manage both front and back of house operations to ensure efficient service.
- Supervise shifts, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high operational standards.
- Support kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and food safety standards are consistently met.
- Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance management.
- Help manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues professionally and efficiently.
- Lead by example, creating a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including both front and back of house.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
- Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to support wherever needed.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
