Adele Carr Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a successful and expanding organisation on the Wirral who are planning to appoint a Financial Accountant following an internal promotion.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, ambitious and technically strong ACA / ACCA qualified accountant, ideally trained within a Big 4 / Top 10 practice, who's ready to take their technical expertise into industry and build a long-term finance career.
You'll be joining a high-performing finance team within a fast-paced, growing organisation, gaining exposure well beyond traditional financial accounting.
The Opportunity
Initially hands-on and technically focused, the position is designed to broaden as you develop, giving you increasing exposure to commercial finance, senior stakeholders and business-wide decision making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review of management accounts and monthly financial reporting
- Ownership of balance sheet integrity and financial controls
- Statutory accounts preparation and audit support
- Exposure to complex and technical accounting matters
- Improving financial processes, controls and reporting
- Partnering with senior stakeholders and providing financial insight
- Supporting the wider finance team as the business continues to grow
Who We're Looking For
- ACA / ACCA qualified
- Ideally trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy practice
- Strong audit, accounting and technical reporting background
- Commercially curious and keen to broaden beyond pure technical accounting
- Self motivated, confident, personable and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
- Ambitious and looking for genuine career progression
