Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of menu items with precision and creativity
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation and safety protocols
- Manage food production schedules to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies
- Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before serving to customers
- Support serving staff by providing timely and accurate food deliveries during service hours
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Supervising experience in a kitchen or food service setting is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene and sanitation
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including food production techniques and presentation skills
