Job Advert – Support Worker (Females’ Semi-Independent Living & Family Support Service)

At Project 43, we believe every young person and parent deserves the opportunity to thrive in a safe, supportive environment. We’re looking for Support Workers to join our females’ semi-independent living and family support service, working with females aged 16–18, including unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC), mothers, and two parent families.
What you’ll do:
- Provide day-to-day support, guidance, and encouragement.
- Help young people develop independence skills such as budgeting, cooking, and education or employment readiness.
- Support young mothers and parents with positive parenting skills, routines, and household management.
- Keep clear, accurate records, update placement files, and complete reports.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team, attending meetings and covering shifts as needed.
- Encourage positive community engagement and cultural understanding.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with young people, parents, or families (UASC or care backgrounds desirable).
- Strong safeguarding awareness and understanding of professional boundaries.
- Good administrative and IT skills.
- A caring, reliable, and resilient approach.
Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, Youth Work, or equivalent.
Willingness and ability to use, or learn to use, AI tools as part of day-to-day practice (e.g. supporting record-keeping, compliance, and communication). Training will be provided.

Pay: £12,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
