McLaren Presentation Livingston are a well established supplier of high quality printed and plain boxes to major companies throughout Scotland. The site is part of a larger group of packaging companies with ambitious plans to grow the Livingston facility. As such we now have a vacancy for a Die Cutter Operator with Power Register experience to work on our Bobst machines.
The position would ideally suit an experienced Die Cutter operator with an excellent working knowledge of Bobst machines using power register, blanking, stripping and embossing to produce high quality cartons and sleeves.
Job responsibilities include:
·To comply with current systems of working
·To achieve established quality standards
·Maximise machine efficiency.
·Participate in continuous development and training
·Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in production.
Experience needed:
·Relevant die Cutter experience in the Carton packaging industry, working with carton board and corrugated materials.
·Ideally experienced on Bobst machines with power register, blanking and stripping sections.
·Demonstrable experience of making ready and running complex luxury packaging including cut / crease / embossing & debossing.
·Demonstrable experience of good team working & communication skills
·Demonstrable experience of working to high quality standards
·Demonstrable evidence of good housekeeping and operator maintenance practices
·Ability to take responsibility for output and quality of cartons produced
·Health and safety awareness
