Summary of Role:
Collect and deliver raw material / finished goods to meat plants and various locations in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in a reliable courteous manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collect and deliver raw material / finished goods to meat plants and various locations in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in a reliable courteous manner;
· Complete daily raw collection sheet, daily vehicle safety inspection sheet and required vehicle cleaning records;
· Keep all documentation in a presentable manner and return signed to office as required;
· Forklift driving as well as loading and unloading of lorries.
The Person:
Full and current UK Driving Licence with HGV Class 1 Licence;
· Excellent communication skills;
· Experience of driving artic lorries;
· Excellent geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland and Ireland road network;
· Valid CPC Card.
Preference will be given to those with:
· Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
Hours of work are 45 hours per week Monday to Friday with variable start and finish times on a four week rotation.
