We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Carer to join our flexible bank staffing team. Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Follow individualized care plans to ensure each person’s unique needs are met effectively and safely.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, their families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assist with light domestic tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry to promote independence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in client condition using IT systems.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, safeguarding policies, and confidentiality standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience working within a care home or home care environment is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English to ensure clear understanding of care plans and instructions.
- Basic IT skills for recording information accurately using electronic systems.
- Strong communication skills with a caring attitude towards clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of care plans, medication procedures, and safeguarding policies is advantageous but can be learned on the job.
