The role:
As a Domestic Assistant you’ll be responsible for daily cleaning at Oaktree Lodge, to ensure a clean and safe environment is being provided for our clients and staff. You’ll be an important part of the team upholding and respecting our values and commitments.

What you’ll be doing:
- Display a natural and genuine interest in working within a caring environment with a collaborative approach.
- Keeping the communal areas of the business and collaborative work with clients to keep their personal space clean and tidy.
- Attend regular meetings, raising hazards and concerns, as appropriate.
- Ensure cleaning stock is replenished and used suitably.
- Demonstrating strong clear communication skills, communicating with colleagues and clients in a calm and confident, caring manner.
- Keep up to date with mandatory and ad hoc training courses when required. Attend regular supervision with your senior team to ensure high standard and values are always maintained.
- Uphold your working hours and communicating any changes to the senior team.
- Support our clients to maintain a habitual home environment.

What you’ll bring:
- A naturally caring disposition and be passionate about the care you deliver.
- Strong command of written and verbal English.
- Full clean UK Driving Licence and access to a car would be preferred.
- Enhanced adult workforce DBS on the update service.
- Basic understanding of Health and Safety, Fire Safety.
- Experience of working within a supported living or community setting would be advantageous.

Due to the location of our home and our shift patterns, you should be able to reasonably commute to the Clevedon area.
