Responsibilities

- Administer medications and manage health routines following prescribed guidelines and safety protocols
- Support individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or hospice needs through compassionate behavior management and emotional support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
- Conduct light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social activities safely and responsibly
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including medication administration and first aid certification is preferred
- Familiarity with dementia, Alzheimer’s care, hospice care, and behavior management strategies enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Experience in caregiving for seniors or children demonstrates versatility and compassion in supporting diverse needs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting clients with mobility or transfers
- Valid driving license with a clean record for responsible transportation duties
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to provide empathetic, respectful care
