The Paul Hunter School of Piano is an established and expanding piano school based in Angmering, West Sussex. We are passionate about providing inspiring, high-quality piano tuition that enables students of all ages to develop a lifelong love of music.
Due to increasing demand and a growing waiting list, we are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic piano teacher to join our team.
The role is primarily based at our purpose-built teaching studio in Angmering, with teaching available on Fridays and weekends, together with opportunities to increase teaching hours as the school continues to grow.
About the Role
You'll teach a wide variety of students, including:
- Young beginners taking their first lessons
- Children and teenagers preparing for ABRSM and Trinity examinations
- Adult beginners and returning pianists
- Students learning simply for enjoyment
We believe piano lessons should be inspiring, encouraging and tailored to every individual. Whether a student wishes to achieve diploma level or simply play for pleasure, our aim is the same—to help them enjoy music for life.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- A confident and accomplished pianist
- Friendly, patient and encouraging
- Reliable, organised and professional
- Passionate about helping students reach their potential
- Comfortable teaching both children and adults
- Able to build positive relationships with students and parents
Teaching experience is desirable, although exceptional pianists with the right personality and enthusiasm for teaching are also encouraged to apply.
Essential Requirements
- Strong Piano Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to teach beginners through to at least intermediate level
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Reliable transport to Angmering
Pay & Benefits
- £28.00–£35.00 per teaching hour
