Westwood Hospitality are proud to be recruiting for an exceptional Maître d’ opportunity with Restaurant 8, one of the most exciting and talked-about dining destinations in the North West.
This is a truly unique role. As the sole front-of-house team member, you will be the face of the restaurant, creating an unforgettable guest journey from arrival to departure. With a carefully controlled number of covers each evening, the focus is firmly on delivering an outstanding, highly personalised dining experience rather than managing volume.

The Role
As Maître d’, you will:
- Be the welcoming face and host of the restaurant
- Manage reservations and guest communications
- Deliver exceptional, warm, and professional service throughout each service
- Build genuine relationships with guests and create memorable experiences
- Coordinate seamlessly with the kitchen team to ensure flawless service delivery
- Handle guest requests, dietary requirements, and special occasions with confidence
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation and hospitality
- Support the overall guest experience from booking through to departure
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Maître d’, Host, Restaurant Supervisor, or senior front-of-house professional within a quality-led restaurant
- A natural host who genuinely enjoys engaging with guests
- Impeccable attention to detail and presentation
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of the guest experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passion for food, hospitality, and delivering exceptional service
- Experience within fine dining, tasting menu, or premium restaurant environments would be highly advantageous
