Overview
We are seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our team! Working set Saturdays and Sundays, you will be the driving force behind creating delicious, high-quality breakfast dishes that delight our guests each morning. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency to meet quality standards
- Ensure all food preparation aligns with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to keep offerings fresh and appealing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely serving of breakfast items
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing meal preparation and serving duties
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, especially related to breakfast dishes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
