We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual to join our Democratic Services team at Warwickshire County Council.

Working within Legal and Governance, you will report to the Democratic Services Manager and alongside Senior Democratic Services colleagues to deliver a compliant, robust and innovative Democratic Service function. You will be at the forefront of ensuring we maintain our reputation for solid governance.

About the role
You will help the team to deliver outstanding democratic and governance support to members, senior officers and colleagues. This will ensure the continued high standards of our Democratic Services team and ongoing compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements within those areas.
You will need expert problem-solving skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure whilst collaborating with our friendly and supportive team of professionals.
You must be willing to work in accordance with the Council’s Values and Behaviours and have experience of advising and supporting on Democratic Services and Scrutiny functions.
A knowledge of electoral law and experience of managing elections will be an advantage.
