We’re a young, fun and seriously food-obsessed bakery, and we’re looking for a Trainee Baker to join our growing team.
You might have some baking experience, you might have just finished college, or you might simply be the person who is always baking something at home.
You don’t need to know everything — that’s what the training is for!
What we do need is someone with energy, enthusiasm and a genuine love of food.
WHAT YOU'LL BE LEARNING
You’ll get hands-on experience across the bakery and learn how to make some seriously tasty stuff, including:
- Artisan breads Sourdough Pastries and viennoiserie Croissants Cakes and sweet treats Mixing, shaping, proving and baking Dough preparation and fermentation How to use professional bakery equipment How to follow recipes and production schedules How to work efficiently in a busy bakery Food hygiene and safety How to maintain consistently high-quality products
You'll learn from experienced bakers and gradually build up your skills and confidence.
And yes... you'll probably eat a fair amount of bread along the way!
