Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed.
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and reliability are essential.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
- Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, which may include early mornings or evenings depending on the assignment.
