We're Hiring: Operations Manager for Transport and Courier Company (Visa Sponsorship Available)

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of our transport and courier services, ensuring efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify and secure new contracts to drive business growth. You'll be responsible for expanding our client base and building long-term relationships.
- Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for generating new leads and converting them into profitable business.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support our team, ensuring that everyone is working towards our goals in a productive and motivated environment.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards, particularly regarding the handling of goods and vehicle maintenance.
- HGV Licence Management: A valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) licence is preferred, as this role may require direct involvement in transport activities, especially during peak times or emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the transport and courier industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
- Licensing: A valid HGV licence is preferred, but not mandatory. However, understanding of the logistics involved in HGV operations is crucial.
- Proactive Approach: Ability to take initiative, think strategically, and drive business growth.
