Duties
- Assess clients’ dietary habits, health history, and nutritional needs through consultations and evaluations
- Create tailored nutrition plans that align with clients’ health objectives and lifestyle preferences
- Educate clients on balanced eating, portion control, meal planning, and nutritional labels
- Monitor progress by conducting follow-up sessions and adjusting plans as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support comprehensive patient care when needed
- Stay current with the latest research in nutrition science and incorporate new insights into practice
- Promote awareness of healthy eating habits through workshops, seminars, or community outreach initiatives
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Nutritionist or in a related health and wellness role
- Strong knowledge of dietary guidelines, nutritional science, and food safety standards
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate diverse audiences
- Ability to develop personalized plans based on individual needs and goals
- Certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or equivalent credential is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with dietary assessment tools and software applications is advantageous
