About the Role
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and sociable Female Care Assistant to support an elderly lady living in the Oadby area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and providing compassionate one-to-one support that promotes wellbeing, dignity, and independence.
The lady enjoys friendly conversation and companionship, so we are seeking someone with a warm personality who can provide both practical support and meaningful social interaction.
Main Duties
- Providing personal care support where required
- Assisting with morning and evening routines
- Supporting with meal/drink preparation
- Prompting or assisting with medication if required
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Encouraging independence and wellbeing
- Ensuring the client feels safe, respected, and comfortable in her home
- Reporting any concerns or changes in wellbeing appropriately
Person Specification
Essential:
- Female carer (genuine occupational requirement)
- Kind, patient, and compassionate nature
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Enjoys social interaction and companionship-based support
- Able to work consistently 7 days a week
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Previous experience in domiciliary care or supporting older adults
- Lives locally to LE2 5YE or within a short travelling distance
- Driving licence and access to transport beneficial but not essential depending on proximity

Pay
Competitive rates of pay dependent on experience.
