The Role
As one of our Class 1 Tramper Drivers, you'll operate modern articulated vehicles throughout the UK, ensuring collections and deliveries are completed safely, professionally and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating Class 1 articulated vehicles with Walking Floor and Curtainsider trailers
- Completing nationwide collections and deliveries
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Securing loads safely and legally
- Completing delivery paperwork and digital records accurately
- Using in-cab technology and transport systems
- Maintaining excellent customer service at every collection and delivery
- Driving in full compliance with DVSA, Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Representing Berridge Waste Paper Ltd professionally at all times
What We're Looking For
We're looking for reliable, professional drivers who take pride in their work.
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- Valid Class 1 Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Excellent understanding of Driver Hours Regulations
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Experience with Walking Floor trailers is desirable, but full familiarisation and training will be provided for the right candidate.
