Starting salary: £26,500 to £27,500, plus overtime and bonus. Your salary will increase incrementally as you progress through the learning pathway and gain qualifications.
Job Description:
E-Fire is looking for a passionate, hardworking individual to join our team as a Junior Fire Alarm Engineer. No previous fire-industry engineering experience is required—if you are ambitious, practical and ready to learn on the job, we will train and support you as you work towards becoming a fully qualified engineer.
Key Purpose of the Job:
The role primarily involves supporting the installation, testing, maintenance and fault diagnosis of fire detection and alarm systems while undertaking a structured training programme to become a fully qualified Fire Alarm Engineer.
What you'll learn:
- Carry out planned testing and maintenance on fire detection and alarm systems.
- Support the investigation and diagnosis of faults, developing strong practical problem-solving skills.
- Work with emergency lighting systems, fire extinguishers and mechanical fire systems.
- Build the technical knowledge, safe working practices and customer-service skills needed for a successful engineering career.
Training and Development Pathway:
- A structured, full training programme delivered with support from our in-house Training and Development Team at our Bradford centre.
- Ongoing guidance and support while you develop confidence and experience in the field.
- A clear pathway of learning towards becoming a fully qualified engineer.

Essential Requirements:
- A resourceful, dynamic approach to problem solving.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine ambition to build a career in the fire industry.
- Full UK driving licence.
