We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated Preschool Room Leader to lead our Pre-School team and help create an outstanding environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

About the Role
As Preschool Room Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Preschool room, ensuring children receive the highest standards of care, learning, and development.
You will lead by example, inspire your team, and work closely with parents, colleagues, and professionals to provide outstanding outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Preschool team on a day-to-day basis.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children feel safe, secure, and valued.
- Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences that support all areas of development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Monitor children's progress and ensure observations, assessments, and records are completed to a high standard.
- Act as a Key Person and support team members in their Key Person responsibilities.
- Promote children's independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and all nursery policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to support children's learning and development.
- Support, mentor, and motivate staff, students, and apprentices within the room.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation throughout the room.
- Work collaboratively with the wider management team to continually improve nursery standards and outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience working with children aged 0–5 years.
- Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework.
- Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Experience supporting children's learning through play-based activities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- A positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
Desirable
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Leadership or management training.
- Previous experience in a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner role.
- Knowledge of inspection and regulatory requirements.
