Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal plaster adhesion.
- Mix plaster materials accurately according to manufacturer specifications for consistency and quality.
- Apply plaster using hand tools such as trowels, hawks, and floats, ensuring smooth, even finishes.
- Use power tools and equipment safely for mixing, sanding, and surface preparation.
- Perform masonry and bricklaying tasks when necessary to support plastering work on structural elements.
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, roofers, and welders on integrated construction tasks.
- Inspect completed work for quality control, addressing any imperfections or defects promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plastering, masonry, or related trades with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, floats, and spatulas; experience with power tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of bricklaying, roofing techniques, welding basics, and carpentry skills enhances versatility.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately for precise application of materials.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards on-site.
