A well established and respected law firm in Sheffield is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its established property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancing Solicitor looking to manage a varied caseload of residential property sales and purchases while working within a supportive and professional team.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for their own caseload and will deal with clients throughout the conveyancing process, from initial instruction through to completion and post completion.
The Role
You will handle a varied caseload of residential property sales and purchases, including freehold and leasehold transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing your own caseload of residential property sales and purchases
-
Acting for buyers and sellers throughout the conveyancing process
-
Handling freehold and leasehold residential property transactions.

Reviewing and advising on contracts, title documentation and property searches
-
Raising and responding to enquiries
-
Liaising with Clients, Estate Agents, Lenders and other Solicitors
-
Managing exchange and completion deadlines
-
Dealing with mortgages and lender requirements.

Handling completion and post completion matters
-
Providing clear and practical legal advice throughout each transaction

Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering excellent client care
About You
You will be a qualified Solicitor with previous experience in Residential Conveyancing.
You will ideally have:

Experience handling a full residential conveyancing caseload

Strong experience dealing with both sales and purchases
-
Knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions.

Experience managing your own caseload from instruction through to completion
-
Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
-
Excellent organisational and time management skills
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Excellent communication and client care skills
-
The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team
