Care Assistant, Mill Hill and Finchley

Are you a carer who cares, but working for a company that doesn't?
We are expanding in the Mill Hill and Finchley area and welcoming new clients, so we are growing our local team. These are part-time roles, ideally from a few hours up to around 25 hours a week. If you live locally or can travel here easily, we would love to hear from you.
Too often, care workers are under-appreciated. At Visiting Angels we do things differently. We put our carers at the centre of everything we do, we match you carefully to your clients, and we give you unhurried visits with the time to actually care. We believe a happy carer means the best possible care, and we pay you for time spent caring, not time spent travelling, which is why your travel time and mileage are paid on top of your hourly rate.
Some of the lovely people you could be supporting
· We have a gentleman in Mill Hill (NW7) who would like a friendly carer (male or female) for a late-evening call every day, around 8:30 to 9:30pm.
· We have a lovely lady in Mill Hill (NW7) who would like two to four visits a week for companionship and support.
· We have a gentleman in East Finchley (N2) who would prefer a male carer for three calls a week.
· Overnight and waking-night carers, locally based in the Mill Hill and Finchley area, we would also love to hear from you.
Local carers in the Mill Hill, Finchley and Edgware area are especially welcome, so please get in touch and tell us your availability.
Pay and benefits
· From £12.75 to £14.50 per hour
· PLUS paid travel time between visits and a mileage allowance (yes, you read that correctly)
· Time and a half on bank holidays and double pay at Christmas

What we look for
· Kind, caring, compassionate and a great communicator
· Ideally, a full UK driving licence and access to your own car
· If you are not a driver but live within the immediate postcode area, close to the client, we would still love to hear from you
· Able to work alternate weekends, to keep it fair for all staff
