A well-regarded independent firm - part of a multi-site practice now approaching 150 heads total - is growing its corporate tax capability and needs a senior operator to step in and lead delivery.
The role
The firm has a healthy flow of corporate tax planning engagements. You'll take ownership of complex advisory work end-to-end, working closely with the partnership to expand what the team can actually deliver. This is a hands-on advisory role, not a management position where you're reviewing others' work at arm's length.
The successful candidate will be a trusted point of contact for clients and will play a key role in how the firm's corporate tax offering develops over the coming years.
What they're looking for
A strong background in corporate tax with a genuine advisory focus - you're comfortable leading planning conversations, not just compliance delivery
Experience at Director level, or a Senior Manager ready to make that step with the right opportunity behind them
Confidence in managing client relationships independently — you'll be a name clients know and trust
