Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced self-employed Bathroom Fitter to carry out full bathroom installations from start to finish. Work is paid per job, with prices agreed in advance and based on an average day rate. The ideal fitter will be confident working independently, completing pre-fit surveys, and identifying any potential issues before installation begins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete full bathroom strip-outs and installations
- Carry out pre-fit surveys to identify potential issues (e.g. damaged plasterboard, raised shower trays, uneven walls or floors)
- Install shower trays, baths, toilets, basins, bathroom furniture, and accessories
- Complete all wall and floor tiling to a high standard
- Carry out all plumbing connections including hot and cold feeds, waste, and soil pipes
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently and professionally
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised working area
- Communicate clearly with customers and report any issues
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven, extensive experience as a Bathroom Fitter
- Able to complete all aspects of bathroom fitting without supervision
- Strong plumbing and fitting knowledge
- Confident identifying and resolving pre-installation and on-site issues
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and well organised
Pay & Working Arrangement:
- Self-employed position
- Paid per job, with rates agreed in advance
- Pricing based on an average day rate, depending on job size and complexity
