Diagnostic / Master Technician – Stratford Tyres Ltd
Position Summary
This is a permanent, full-time role for an experienced Diagnostic/Master Technician to diagnose and repair vehicle faults, create detailed fault write-ups and deliver technical summaries to vehicle owners, create repair estimates following diagnosis summaries.
Salary : starting from £40,000.....
Hours : Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM (no weekends)
Annual Leave22 days + bank holidays
Location : Workshop site (Stratford Tyres Ltd)
Essential Requirements
✓ 10+ years as a vehicle technician
✓ Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics
✓ Valid vehicle repair qualification
✓ Full UK driving license
✓ Strong mechanical knowledge across cars and vans
✓ Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and garage management systems
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
- Complete and document detailed diagnostic reports
- Record inspection findings on digital job cards
- Provide customers with clear repair estimates
- Perform repairs and train/guide workshop technicians
- Collaborate with Workshop Controller and Service Manager
- Stay current with training and industry developments
