Job Summary
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to work alongside the existing team at The Inn at Freshford. A delightful countryside pub, just outside of Bath and close to Bradford on Avon.
Ideally we are looking for full time permanent staff, but we would be open to part time and seasonal as well. When replying to the advert, if you are looking for art time, please include the days and hours you are able to work.
Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients.
- Support the kitchen team with general cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
- Ensure all waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed.
- Restock supplies and organise storage areas to facilitate efficient kitchen operations.
- Assist with setting up dining areas and clearing tables as needed during service periods.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or culinary tasks is advantageous.
- Experience working in a busy kitchen environment or serving customers can be beneficial.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
