Job Overview
We are seeking to increase our team with enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Monitor customer consumption levels and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
- Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and restocking as needed.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
- Bartending experience is a plus, with an understanding of drink preparation techniques.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions effectively.
- A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
