About the Role
We’re looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our dispatch team at Hate My Phone Ltd, a busy technology recycling and refurbishment business based in Tyseley, Birmingham.
Our warehouse handles a high volume of phones, tablets and other technology every day, so this is a hands-on role where accuracy, speed and teamwork are important.
You don't need previous warehouse experience. We care more about your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing phones, tablets and other devices for dispatch
- Cleaning and checking devices before they are packaged
- Picking the correct items for customer orders
- Packaging products safely and securely
- Printing and applying postage labels
- Helping process a high volume of daily orders
- Moving and organising stock around the warehouse
- Keeping your workstation clean and organised
- Following company processes to ensure orders are dispatched correctly
- Working as part of a team to meet daily dispatch targets
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and willing to get stuck in
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Able to work accurately when handling large numbers of orders
- Organised and able to follow instructions
- Comfortable being on your feet for much of the working day
- A good team player
- Willing to learn new processes
Previous warehouse, packing or dispatch experience is useful but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Hours
This is a zero-hours contract, meaning hours can vary depending on business requirements and your availability.
We have opportunities for:
- Part-time work
- Full-time hours
- Additional hours during busy periods
Typical working hours are during the daytime, Monday to Friday, although flexibility may be required depending on workload.
