Manage and oversee the Company's daily transport, dispatch and distribution operations, ensuring the efficient and timely collection and delivery of goods for major clients, including Amazon. Plan delivery schedules, allocate vehicles and drivers, monitor route performance and resolve operational issues to maintain service levels. Supervise dispatch staff and drivers, ensuring compliance with transport legislation, health and safety requirements and company policies. Monitor key performance indicators, prepare operational reports and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs and optimise fleet utilisation. Liaise with customers, warehouses and third-party logistics providers to ensure contractual obligations are met. Oversee fleet maintenance planning, investigate service failures and implement corrective actions. Support the implementation of transport management systems and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of customer service, operational performance and regulatory compliance.
Pay: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
